How to use this site
I intend to keep the site free to use, and also free from ads, so in order to keep it from costing me too much time and money, I kept the design simple.
That means there are no user accounts, so things like wishlist and collections pages store the data locally in your browser.
The benefit to this is that you'll never have to go through the trouble of creating an account. The only limitation at the moment is that the data does not persist across devices (or browsers). You can use it on as many devices as you want, but since there are no user accounts, the data doesn't have any way to sync between your devices, so you'd have to manually enter everything for each device. There are ways to get around this that I might explore in the future, but for now, it's just a minor limitation. The perk to this is that you won't be forced to create a user account to use this site, so I think it's a good tradeoff.
Finding Albums
- you can use the albums page to filter and search for an album
- you can get curated lists that might be helpful for collectors here
Collection
- click the add to collection button on an album version to add it to your collection
- you can see your collection here
- the data is saved in your browser, so you don't need to waste time creating an account or anything
- the albums on the collections page that are shown in 3D are rendered to scale, so assuming the dimensions were set correctly, everything should be sized correctly in respect to each other, which can help judge the size of a given album you consider buying
- albums that aren't showing up in 3d are missing images of the sides and back. if you own an album that isn't shown in 3d, you can email me clear images of each side and I can get them added so the 3d works
Wishlist
- clicking the heart icon or add to wishlist button will add an item to your wishlist
- you can see your wishlist here
